In a surprising announcement, Insomniac Studio has revealed the release of Spider-Man 2 game for PC on January 30, 2025, joining the previous two parts and completing the famous PlayStation trilogy on PC.
The sequel by Insomniac was announced during NYCC 2025, to complete the trilogy on Steam, joining Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales on the platform.
Sony announced that the global sales of Marvel Spider-Man 2 game have exceeded 11 million units as of April 20, 2024.
As previously announced, more than 2.5 million copies were sold in the first 24 hours of release, and more than five million copies were sold by October 30, 2023.
The Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was released for PlayStation 5 on October 20, 2023, and these numbers mean that the game sold 6 million copies in approximately 6 months.
