Beta of Monster Hunter Wilds open world launches on October 31st.
In the latest live stream for the game Monster Hunter Wilds, producer Ryozo Tsujimoto confirmed that the game will receive an open beta next week, available from October 31 to November 3 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
PlayStation Plus and Game Pass Core/Ultimate subscriptions are not required for the beta, but PlayStation Plus subscribers will get early access on PS5 from October 28 to 30. The beta includes a story experience with players battling Chatacabra. Additionally, players can also hunt Doshaguma and experience dynamically changing climates and conditions in the wilderness areas.
Cross-play is supported throughout the beta period, and players can use the character creator to shape their hunter, who will carry over to the final game. If you are interested in playing offline, AI support hunters can be summoned for assistance.
Monster Hunter Wilds is set to release on February 28, 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
