Best Android Apps to Install This Week [4-8-2017]

Our weekly article is back, where we discuss a selection of new Android applications that may benefit and be useful to all users. As always, we focus on presenting free applications as well as considering apps that have received important updates. There is no harm in including old apps that have been recently discovered, as long as they bring value. Last week’s article featured a fantastic collection of apps, which you can check out here. For this new week, the apps are as follows:

LightX :

LightX is a popular photo editor on iOS, now officially available on the Google Play Store in beta version. This app is a comprehensive photo editing tool that allows you to cut photos, change and edit backgrounds, create cartoon images, take selfies, change hair color, add color effects, merge photos for multiple lighting effects, add blur effects, and more. Medal :

If you enjoy watching live game streams from around the world, Medal is a great app for you. It allows you to watch highlights and moments instantly, browse endless high-quality streams from users worldwide, and share clips with friends. You can customize news alerts by subscribing to your favorite games and adjust video quality from 480p to 1080p. Medal supports sharing clips from various sources including Gfycat, Imgur, Instagram, Xbox Live, YouTube, Twitch, and more. The app is available for free on the Google Play Store.

Control Center OS 11:

This app replicates the iOS 11 Control Center for Android users, providing quick access to camera and important settings. While it resembles the iOS Control Center, it does not support editing settings like shortcuts. You can access the notification center by swiping left or right from the screen edge and close it by swiping down or pressing the back button. Control Center OS 11 is available for free on the Google Play Store.

Briar is based on the well-known Tor browser instructions and is designed for activists, journalists, and others who need a secure and easy communication method. The app syncs messages directly between users’ devices using a central server or Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
