Batman: Arkham Origins Coming in October on All Devices
Warner Bros announced today the global release of Batman Arkham Origins on October 25th for PC, XBOX360, PS3, and also on the same day for mobile devices 3DS and PS Vita. This was not a big surprise to us as we had previously known that this year would see a new installment in the Batman games series. The exciting part about this installment is the involvement of Rocksteady Studios, which has taken over development from WB Games Montréal. The latter will be working on the PC and console releases, while Armature Studio is tasked with the mobile devices. This installment will take place before the events of Asylum and City, with Bruce Wayne still young and lacking many skills and techniques. It is said that Gotham City will be much larger than in Arkham City. Unfortunately, we do not have any in-game screenshots yet, only the image available on the official website.
