Baldur’s Gate 3 Development Studio Reveals Reason for Not Releasing Version on PS4 and Xbox One!
Baldur’s Gate 3 Game Development Studio Reveals Why the Game is Not Being Released on PS4 and Xbox One
It can be said that the news during this day, specifically at the beginning of March, is coming out strongly as it seems during a glimpse of the most important details that have surfaced in the past few hours. This can be observed through the data that has surfaced and is coming from the PAX East exhibition taking place in the American city of Boston.
Through an official preview of the game Baldur’s Gate 3 through a cinematic video and another one showcasing its gameplay, the game was announced only for PC, which sparked various reactions and opinions among the audience.
This led to the developer team at Larian Studio being questioned about not releasing a version for the current generation consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which the team tried to clarify.
They confirmed that the reason simply is the hardware limitations of these devices, emphasizing that they do not want to offer the game at a lower level than what is available on PC, hence their decision to focus only on this version with the developers. They did not announce the possibility of launching it on the next generation consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
However, it is very clear that the fate of the game will be directed towards the future, especially since they chose not to focus on a version for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which means that their target is truly the upcoming Sony and Microsoft consoles. Thus, Baldur’s Gate 3 remains the first game whose developers have refused to launch it on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Regards.
