Apple’s iOS 18.1 Update Fixes Random Restart Issue on iPhone 16 Pro

Apple is preparing to launch a new update for the iOS 18.1 system, which is aimed at addressing a recurring issue that affected users of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. This issue was causing the devices to suddenly stop working and restart randomly, leading to numerous complaints since the phones were released.

Some iPhone 16 Pro users are experiencing screen freezes or slow responsiveness, followed by unexpected phone restarts, even when not in use and in standby mode. The severity of the problem varies from user to user, with some experiencing it intermittently, while others find their devices restarting frequently, making phone usage difficult.

Apple has confirmed that the iOS 18.1 update will fix this issue, as indicated in the final beta version released to some users. In addition, the new update will address other issues, including a bug in the “Podcasts” app that incorrectly marks unlistened episodes as listened, as well as a problem with high temperatures or stuttering in 4K video clips.

Furthermore, the update will fix a problem that affects digital car keys, which may malfunction after transferring data from another phone or restoring a backup, restoring efficiency to remote operation functions for cars connected to the phone.

The update is expected to be released by the end of this October, and will also come with new features based on artificial intelligence to enhance the user experience with iPhone devices.
