Apple Company Collapses and Smartphone Sales Fall worldwide

Global smartphone sales began to decline last year, with a 6% drop. After years of continuous growth, it seems that something has changed in the market, and the trend is not only declining but worsening.

As we can see in a report published by Gartner, global smartphone sales continue to decline. However, market movements have not affected all manufacturers equally. Samsung and Huawei are growing, while Apple is collapsing.
Anshul Gupta, research director at Gartner, pointed out that user preferences are changing and affecting manufacturers. Most consumers do not want or cannot afford high costs of 1000 euros, as there are much cheaper phones that meet their needs. For less than 200 euros.
Looking at the specific data for manufacturers in 2019, the information is very interesting. Samsung continues to hold the top spot, selling 75 million smartphones and thus gaining 20% of market share. Huawei occupies the second position, with slightly over 58 million devices sold, an increase of more than 8 million compared to the previous year.

The blow comes to Apple, which sold 6 million fewer smartphones, indicating that the American company was in a predicament in the battle for global sales leadership.
Behind them are companies like Xiaomi and OPPO, which have also settled among the top five manufacturers with increased sales.
