Some exciting announcements cannot be ignored, such as the new portable gaming devices from Ayaneo, which was expected to reveal its new portable devices during the event. This was indeed unveiled in the past few hours based on the information shared with us by various specialized global websites.
Contrary to expectations, the new device will not come with a Ryzen 6000 processor, but only Ryzen 7 5800U, in addition to the design of the new device coming in line with the philosophy of Nintendo Switch devices, as well as the same concept as the Valve’s Steam Deck, which has been postponed until March.
On the other hand, the final name of the device is Ayaneo Next with different and varied specifications, but overall common in all aspects such as the screen resolution available in 1280×800 size of IPS LCD type on a 7-inch touch screen, a 4100 mAh battery, 16 to 32 GB of LPDDR4 RAM with a frequency of 4266MHz, and an SSD NVMe storage space ranging from 1 to 2 terabytes.
With the Ryzen 7 5800U processor comes the integrated AMD Radeon Vega 8 2000MHz GPU with Windows 11 operating system, unlike previous devices that ran on Windows 10. The device comes in three versions: Ayaneo Next with 16GB RAM and 1 terabyte storage, Ayaneo Next Advance with 2 terabytes storage and 16GB RAM.
Lastly, there is the Ayaneo Next Pro version with 32GB RAM and 2 terabytes SSD NVMe storage space. All devices come equipped with an external cooling system in the box that can be connected to the device. As for the available ports, it comes with a USB C port that supports Display Port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
As for the gaming capabilities, through testing, games like The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt ran at a medium frame rate of about 41 fps, Cyberpunk 2077 ran at a high setting at 23 fps, and Metro Exodus ran at a low setting at 42 fps. Finally, the price according to the team’s announcement will range between $1315 for the regular version, $1465 for the Next Advance version, and $1565 for the Next Pro version. It is clear that this premium price is aimed at enthusiasts of such devices.
