Airbnb launches new Co-Host network to facilitate management of host properties

Airbnb announced the launch of the new Co-Host network, designed to support hosts in managing their properties more effectively. This network aims to simplify the process of hosting properties by allowing hosts to enlist the help of experienced co-hosts.
Hosts can choose individuals from the network based on their ratings, with the requirement that appointed hosts have a rating of no less than 4.8 and a minimum of ten hostings. These appointed hosts will assist in preparing rental listings, determining prices, managing guests, and cleaning the property to ensure a unique experience for guests.
To date, more than ten thousand hosts have registered in the network across various countries such as Australia, Brazil, France, Mexico, and the United States. While this step aims to streamline things for hosts, it may raise some concerns regarding its impact on local communities, especially amid the housing crisis facing many countries.
In addition to the Co-Host network, Airbnb has introduced new features including the ability to view similar rental listings in the area, a welcome tour for new users, and updates to local search and payment options. These initiatives reflect the company’s commitment to enhancing the experience for both hosts and guests alike.
