Announcing Copies of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 7 Games Available for Sale

Capcom has announced that it will release physical or disc versions of its games Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Gold Edition for PlayStation 5 on December 6, 2024 in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, and on December 26, 2024 in Japan, and in January 2025 in North America. Each title will be priced at $29.99.

It’s worth noting that all three titles are currently available digitally as standalone purchases or as a free upgrade to the physical or digital version of the PlayStation 4 edition.

This comes after Capcom announced earlier this month a reimagined trilogy of Resident Evil games, allowing you to get three of the best Resident Evil games in recent years. Capcom has now bundled together a 3-in-1 package of reimagined Resident Evil editions including Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 4 along with a lot of additional content released for those games either at launch or afterwards.

The key components of the Resident Evil bundle are Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition, but it also includes some of the most important add-ons like Mercenaries Mode in Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Resistance, even though this multiplayer experience largely failed after release.

When purchasing the base versions of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 4 separately, each one costs $40, so you would spend $120 if you bought them this way. However, the Resident Evil Remake trilogy costs only $90, saving you $30 immediately, not to mention getting special editions rather than the base versions.
