Naruto series developer studio also contributes to the development of Final Fantasy VII Remake game

The announcement of a new gameplay style for the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake has garnered positive attention. However, confirming the release of the game in separate episodes has ignited passionate discussion among series fans, as they are unsure of how this new approach will be handled in a series like Final Fantasy.

Mr. Tetsuya Nomura and producer Yoshinori Kitase recently spoke with the Japanese magazine Famitsu, and from their dialogue, we can infer some information. Firstly, the development team for Final Fantasy VII Remake is receiving support from several prominent studios, including CyberConnect2, known for their work on the Naruto Ultimate Ninja series. Mr. Yoshinori confirmed that he is collaborating with the development team on the combat system, leveraging his accumulated experience.

According to Mr. Yoshinori, the combat system will heavily lean towards action, which is why CyberConnect2 was brought on board. Despite the game being very old, the idea of making the combat more action-oriented is still a good one, while maintaining the dynamic and smooth gameplay style.

It is worth noting that the release date for Final Fantasy VII Remake is still uncertain, but we must not forget about the upcoming part of Final Fantasy XV in 2016. Regards.
