Sonic X Shadow Generations is set to be released on October 25th, but gameplay footage of the game has been leaked online before its official launch.
A YouTuber named Vexi managed to get hold of a copy of the game early and played it on the Yuzu Switch emulator. They then uploaded two separate videos, each six minutes long, showcasing the initial gameplay. However, they made sure not to include any story spoilers for players. They also stated in the video description that they pre-ordered the game to support the developers.
“[I] don’t usually pirate stuff, but I thought people might want to see this since the ROMs are available now. “Don’t worry, I pre-ordered the game on Steam, but I was really excited to play it and wanted to watch it as soon as I could.”

Sonic X Shadow Generations will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
