Revealing the reason behind the ban of the game Black Ops 6 in Kuwait.

The Kuwaiti regulatory authority announced a few days ago a decision to ban the game Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 in Kuwait without revealing the reasons.
However, today, through the active user CANCEL on the X platform, the real reasons that led to the ban of the game in Kuwait were revealed as follows:
Reasons for banning Black Ops 6 in Kuwait
- General portrayal of the Kuwait War.
- Scenes of Kuwaiti oil wells burning.
- Portrayal of characters in a way that upset the Kuwaiti side.
- Heroic depiction of Saddam Hussein.
These details were discovered after a specialized team affiliated with the regulatory authority in Kuwait fully experienced the story mode. The decision to ban the game was based on these four data points listed above.
According to the same source, the publisher of the game, Activision, attempted to communicate with the relevant authorities in order to hold a meeting and discuss modifications that could be made to lift the ban on the game, but there was no response from these authorities, as claimed by the source.
Kuwait is the first country to announce a ban on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on its territories, and it is unknown whether there will be more countries following the same approach, especially since the game delves deeply into the story of the Gulf War, revisiting many sensitive events and characters from that era.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released on next-gen consoles, current-gen consoles, and PC on October 25th.
