Over the past few months, through exclusive details at the Arab level that I presented on our website GAMES 4 FANS by reading statements from a French journalist who has a strong friendship with the Japanese developer Hideo Kojima, the creator of the Metal Gear Solid series, who was close to launching one of the most promising titles in the horror game world years ago in the form of the game Silent Hills, which was canceled due to problems between Hideo Kojima and Konami, leading to the man leaving Konami and losing the rights to the Metal Gear series unfortunately.
However, recently during every event from Sony that revealed new information about the PlayStation 5, it was expected that the new Silent Hill game would be present as there was actually knowledge that the project is really in progress and it has been confirmed numerous times that the game is being worked on by a well-known Japanese developer who has a strong presence in the industry, distancing all references from the developer Hideo Kojima. And this has come back to the surface today through information shared with us by the Moore’s Law is Dead channel on YouTube, where he reported in a new video that news he received from the circle of the Japanese developer Hideo Kojima indicate that he is indeed working on a new part of the series in partnership with Konami and Sony, who intervened to clear the air between these parties together and restore the balance, especially since it is the beneficiary of the deal.
As they want to get the game exclusively for the PlayStation 5, which is an ambitious project for the latter, especially since the series is very popular among horror game enthusiasts, adding that the global reveal may take place during an event like The Game Awards 2020, which as usual, the closer it gets, the more favorable the opportunity for most of the rumors to resurface.
And it is the case with the Silent Hill game now along with a series of other announcements that are rumored to be present during this huge event, which Sony may take advantage of by making a strong announcement, although the source is not official and trustworthy.
