Nintendo announces a new version of the Nintendo Switch with a larger battery!

The announcement of the Nintendo Switch Lite was just the beginning, as last week the company held a live stream to put an end to several rumors and details that had been leaked by various sources through global websites.
Soon after, Nintendo revealed today a new version of the original Nintendo Switch through its official website, confirming that it will replace the current model with the new device. This new version, identified by the serial number XKW, promises users the best possible use of the battery, claiming to last up to 5.5 hours of gameplay with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This is a significant increase compared to the original version of the device, as stated in the press release published hours ago.
The battery’s serial number will be HAC-001-01, while the device will be launched under a serial number containing the letters XKW. There are no significant additions other than the extended battery life, and the price will remain the same globally at $300. The device will be available in Japan in August before expanding further in the coming weeks. Best regards.
