Release of Phasmophobia Game on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on October 29th

The release of Phasmophobia on platforms took much longer than anyone expected, as the original plan for developer Kinetic Games was to release the game on PlayStation and Xbox last August. After several delays, the developer company announced earlier this year that the cooperative horror game would finally be released on platforms in October, and now, a specific release date has been announced.
Phasmophobia will be released in early access for PS5, PS VR2, and Xbox Series X/S on October 29, with cross-platform multiplayer support (including on PC, of course). As previously announced, the game will be sold for $19.99.
Kinetic Games CEO Daniel Knight said:
”We are extremely happy to see Phasmophobia entering early access on home consoles. The community has been demanding its release on platforms, and we have been waiting for some time for this to happen. The development team at Kinetic Games has put in exceptional effort to make this demand a reality.“
At the same time, Kinetic Games also announced that Phasmophobia has now sold over 20 million units worldwide. The game has been available for PC in early access since September 2020.
