BioShock game from 2K, which is widely considered one of the greatest games of all time, is now free and you can own it and keep it forever. The BioShock series has been on hiatus for the past decade. Aside from the remastered collection released in 2016, the last main installment in the BioShock series, BioShock Infinite, was released in 2013. Now, for those who may not be familiar with this series but have always wanted to participate, the new deal is very good and cannot be missed.
As of now, the enhanced version of the original BioShock can be downloaded for free on PC. This offer comes to us through Prime Gaming and is part of a promotional offer that will run until January 8, 2025. Those who redeem this deal will receive a code that can be redeemed on GOG for PC.
However, this BioShock offer is “free” only if you are an Amazon Prime subscriber. Therefore, technically, the offer is one that you must pay for in one way or another. Considering the millions of people worldwide who already have active subscriptions to Amazon Prime, however, this deal is one that many are likely to qualify for as is.
Currently, we know that a new BioShock game is in development by developer Cloud Chamber. However, details about its launch have not been revealed as 2K remains tight-lipped about this project. In the meantime, former BioShock director Ken Levine is working on a game Judas, which shares many similarities with other BioShock installments. Judas still does not have a release date, but it is likely to be released in 2025.
