Alongside the official announcement of the Pixel 9 series, Google also unveiled the third generation of its smartwatch, the Pixel Watch.
The Pixel Watch 3 does not differ in design from the previous generation, but now comes in two sizes: 41mm and 45mm, whereas it was previously only available in one size.
The Pixel Watch 3 features an OLED display protected by Gorilla Glass 5, a refresh rate ranging from 1 to 60Hz, brightness of up to 2000nits, Snapdragon W5100 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.
The watch comes with a 306 mAh battery for the 41mm size and a 420 mAh battery for the 45mm size. Google claims the battery can last for a day or 36 hours with battery saver mode activated. The Pixel Watch 3 includes Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, LTE, speakers, microphone, water and dust resistance with an IP68 rating, temperature and heart rate sensors. It will provide you with a daily health summary in the morning, sleep tracking, and recommendations.
The Pixel Watch 3 is currently available for pre-order and will be available for sale on September 10th. The price is $349.99 for the 41mm Wi-Fi version, $399.99 for the 45mm Wi-Fi version, $449.99 for the 41mm LTE version, and $499.99 for the 45mm LTE version.
