Best New iPhone and iPad Apps of the Week [11/07/2020]

After our meeting yesterday with the best new Android apps of the week, our next appointment is dedicated to iPhone users and iPad users between quotation marks “iOS users.” As usual with our weekly article, we focus on free and new apps for everyone to benefit from. There is no problem in including old apps that we recently discovered or even paid apps as long as the desired benefit is there. Overall, just like the best iPhone and iPad apps for last week, this week’s apps are as follows:

1. Focos Live

The first app in our weekly article is Focos Live, which allows you to capture videos with a large aperture and edit them with powerful tools. This app is an extension of the well-known Focos app, but it comes with the functionality of capturing personal videos with wide aperture and bokeh effect for dual and triple cameras. With Focos Live, you can customize any vertical video you create without limitations, change the aperture multiple times as you wish, and support for multiple layers, such as combining 4 different videos on one screen. The app is available for free download with in-app purchases.

2. Watch to 5K

Another new app on the App Store is Watch to 5K, a standalone fitness app that can be used without the need for your iPhone. This app takes care of your health and fitness by storing sessions in Apple Health and counting them towards your activity goals. It also provides detailed information about your workouts, the ability to repeat running sessions, and works alongside your favorite music player or podcast app. Unfortunately, this app is not free and is available for download at a price of $2.99 as a one-time purchase.

3. FilmoraGo for iPad

This app is specifically designed for iPad users and is an easy-to-use video editing app with advanced features and creative options. With FilmoraGo, you can edit music videos, create your own movies, and share videos with friends. The app includes tools for trimming and splitting videos, adjusting speed, muting tools, sound editing, cutting, organizing, sequencing clips, and much more. While the app is free to download, it includes optional in-app purchases.

4. Image Converter

This app is not new but is of great importance as it allows you to convert image formats and includes tools like image resizing, image compression, and batch conversion. Image Converter supports dozens of formats and is available for free download. To access batch conversion and disable ads, you need to purchase the app.

5. Write: Journal Simple

Write: Journal Simple is a unique app that allows you to record your thoughts and moments throughout the day. By writing down inspirational quotes, expressing gratitude in the morning, and reflecting on the day at night, the app boosts self-confidence, reduces stress and anxiety, and enhances self-development. This app is available for purchase at $0.99 as a one-time purchase.

6. Text Editor

The last app in this group is Text Editor, a relatively new and powerful text editor that allows you to browse and edit various text formats on your device and in the cloud. Text Editor supports TXT, RTF, and other text formats like HTML, CSS, and JS, allowing users to view text in any font and style. The app supports direct text sharing and dark mode, and is available for free download with optional in-app purchases.
