The TeVii P405 Android TV Box is one of the exceptional devices that turns your TV screen into an Android device using an HDMI cable with a remote control for full control. It allows you to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable, as there is a port to connect the device to the internet via cable. It also has two USB ports, a memory card slot, and an audio-video cable connection port.
The device allows you to link it to your Google account directly and access Google Play to download and install any apps you want. However, do not expect much internal storage space; it is only 8GB with 1GB of RAM. This space and RAM are sufficient for me, but depending on your usage, if you intend to use the device intensively, it may cause lagging and the storage space may not be sufficient, so I do not recommend the device for you. If your usage will be limited like mine, then the device is sufficient.
Through the device, you can run the YouTube app and use the YouTube app for smart TVs, which gives you more capabilities to browse YouTube. I managed to use a wireless keyboard and mouse, and I still affirm that it is one of the best purchases I have made and I recommend it to everyone. The remote control for the device is distinctive and has a YouTube shortcut. Now that I have bought this device for my mother to watch YouTube better, I will connect her tablet to the device so she can control the device using the tablet.
How to control the YouTube app on the TV using the phone or tablet
For those wondering how to connect YouTube to any device, whether a smart TV or an Android device like the one we have today, all you have to do is download the YouTube app for smart TVs on the device or TV. Then, go to Settings and click on “LINK TV AND PHONE.”
Then, click on “LINK WITH TV CODE” and copy and keep the code that will appear, then add it in the next step to complete the linking process between the phone and the device in terms of YouTube.
Through this link YouTube.com/pair to control YouTube on the device through the computer, as for the phone or tablet, use the YouTube app on your phone, select “Watch on TV,” then click on “ENTER TV CODE” and enter the code that appeared to you in the previous step.
Now all you have to do is open the YouTube app on your phone and surely play it on the TV or device, then click on the icon for connecting with the YouTube TV app as indicated in the image above, then search for the videos you want and play them, and you will find that they work on the TV directly.
The device is distinctive, and the price is quite good, as I paid 950 Egyptian pounds, equivalent to $50. But as I mentioned earlier, if you intend to use it intensively for gaming or other activities, I recommend a device with higher RAM and larger storage space. If you plan to use it normally, then this device is sufficient.
