The PC Manager program was created primarily for the Asian market. In China, the CCleaner application is mostly used to optimize Windows performance. The application cleans the system of unwanted temporary files. Note that Microsoft classified it as a harmful application that could damage the system, so it launched this application.
Microsoft is currently offering this application very locally. But the company plans to expand it to include the whole world, and aims to make it a very useful application.
The new version (v3.9.3.0) of PC Manager includes a series of new features for the Windows 11 operating system and also for the Windows 10 operating system. Now, this application will have a dark mode by default, which was not previously available.
Without a doubt, the most interesting new feature is File Cleanup, which receives performance improvements. It allows you to easily delete downloaded files, search for large files in a section of our system that we choose, and even delete duplicate files.
To do this, a deep cleaning process must be carried out and then one of the options provided must be selected:
– Downloaded Files: Focuses on managing any files we have downloaded from the Edge or Chrome browser (and any other browser) and other applications, located in the Downloads folder.
– Large Files: Allows you to view large files that occupy a large space on our storage unit. It is very useful for finding forgotten or unnecessary files that reduce the available capacity of our storage unit.
– Duplicate Files: Scans inside Windows to detect multiple copies of the same file located in different locations. This is very common when we copy a file to a new location and do not delete it from the source.
And this is not the only change the application receives, as it includes some other modifications. As mentioned, dark mode support is implemented. In addition, it also includes a new “restore suggestion” option to reset the application. Japanese, Korean, and Hindi language support is also included.
It is probable that if Microsoft wants to expand the use of the application around the world, it will arrive with the 24H2 update for the Windows 11 operating system. It is rumored that this major update could be what was previously called Windows 12 a few months ago. There is no confirmation of this since Microsoft recently kept its secrets well.
