As reported by 9to5Google, the latest update to the Google app already includes the “What’s on my screen?” feature, although this feature is now being activated gradually on the company’s servers, so not all users may be able to see this feature in Google Assistant.

What’s on my screen is a feature supported by Google Lens to analyze the content of the screen for Android phones. When we press this option, it simply takes a screenshot of the screen and analyzes all the elements on it, so it will provide us with information about everything we capture.

This feature is useful if we see a product or an item that we are not familiar with but it catches our interest because Google’s technology is capable of identifying it and informing us about what it is and information about it, so if it is a product, it also allows us to go to the store to buy it.
The feature disappeared in May last year, so it has been almost a year since we last saw it return to the app.
