How to Install Themes on Your Computer

Certainly, themes that you download from professional designers are wonderful and unique without a doubt. This is not surprising because those who design them are designers with a high level of experience and professionalism. There are also themes that can transform your device into a different appearance. You can transform Windows into the appearance of Linux, Apple, or other designs. We have already reviewed wonderful, unique, and professional themes before, and we will mention them in the lines of this topic. But first, let’s start by explaining the method and process of installing and setting up themes on Windows.
1. Prepare Windows to Receive Themes
Unofficial themes require some modifications to the system in order to successfully install the themes. There is a manual way to do this, but it is better to use one of the programs that can perform this task easily. You can use the program UxStyle and unzip the file after downloading it. If your Windows is 64-bit, you run the 64-bit file, and if it is 32-bit, you run the 86 file, then proceed with the installation. Then restart the device and move on to the second step. There is also a program called UltraUXThemePatcher that you install. Then restart the device, and now you can move on to the second step and successfully install the themes.
2. Install and Set Up Themes on the Computer
Now you can easily install any theme on your device. You download the themes you want from various websites from designers, then follow the steps to install them. However, there are complex themes that come with programs attached, and you must install the programs with them. The method will be included with the theme, but generally, all themes have a single installation method. We have previously reviewed various themes that you can use for all versions of Windows.
- Windows XP Themes
- Windows 7 Themes
- Windows 8 Themes
Now you can install and set up the theme easily by downloading the theme file, unzipping it, copying the theme files (which are in a folder along with the theme file), and pasting them in the Themes folder. You will find it on drive C in the Windows folder, then Resources folder. Paste the folder and theme file inside this folder as shown in the following image.
Now all you have to do is click on the theme file to activate it and use it on the device. Click on the .theme file as shown in the image above to run this file as shown in the following image. This way, the theme has been activated.
Installing themes is not difficult at all as we have seen above, but follow these lines because they are also important. All you have to do is apply the first step once to prepare Windows to receive themes, then you repeat the second step to install whatever themes you want. Note that some themes require installing programs and applications to change the appearance of Windows to match the theme preview, so install these programs and applications. I hope the topic is easy, clear, and understandable, and we will meet in the comments if there is something unclear to you.
