How to Share Your Phone Screen with Friends Through Messenger App

Fortunately, you don’t have to wait for this feature to reach your system. Whether you’re on Android, iOS, Desktop, Messenger Rooms, or any other Facebook app that supports video calls, you will be able to share your screen and broadcast its content with anyone you’re conversing with. For the Messenger app on desktop devices, some apps and browser windows are available for sharing, while phone systems support everything displayed on the screen. Now let’s move on to show you how the new feature works.

How to Share Screen in Messenger app?
This feature is only available in the latest versions of Messenger applications on Facebook, so make sure you have the latest version of the app (for desktop devices, they don’t need to do anything). Additionally, it is necessary for the phones being used to support the screen sharing feature during video calls. As for desktop devices:
Open the Messenger or Facebook or Messenger Rooms or Workplace Rooms app. Then start talking to one of your friends by clicking on the video call icon, or you can create a private room. Then click on the “Share Screen” command from below, then you can choose from three options: Entire Screen, Application Window, or Browser Tab. Once you start sharing the screen, you can leave the call in the background and share the content you want to show your friend. If you want to disable screen sharing, you can click on “Stop” at the top of the app.
For the Messenger app on phones: Open the Messenger app or any Facebook-supported app, and while on a video call with your friend, swipe the screen up to show the screen sharing option. Click on the “Share your screen” command, then “Start sharing,” and then “Start broadcast.” Once you share the screen, you can leave the video call in the background and easily share the contents of the screen.
