Running Games and Programs on an External AMD Graphics Card Instead of the Internal One

However, you may notice that some games do not work on it, as you discover that the internal graphics card is active and recognized when running any game on your device, causing a significant problem. We have received many inquiries about this issue, so in this article, let us review with you the solution to the problem by identifying the games you want to run on the external AMD graphics card, thereby disabling the internal graphics card. By following the steps below, you will learn how to do this process easily.

In the following, we will review the steps to run any game or program that requires high performance on the external graphics card, starting with AMD cards. In another article, we will talk about Nvidia cards, as they are slightly different and have their own method. However, you will need to have the latest version of the driver for the external graphics card installed. To access and run it, simply click on the name of the game or program under the Presets section, as shown in the image. You can add more programs or games under this section by following the steps mentioned above. To start running them, simply click on the name twice, and they will be launched immediately. If you want to delete any game or program from this list, click on Manage Presets, select what you want to delete, then press Delete at the bottom to remove it from the list directly.
