However, the service also offers some exceptional features that many may not be aware of. We are not talking about features like offline viewing or creating multiple profiles, but rather about tips and tricks that can enhance your viewing experience. Let’s start right away.
It’s easy to display subtitles within the episodes or movies you watch on Netflix, but some users may have difficulty reading the subtitle text – perhaps needing to change the font size and color to make the subtitles readable under any circumstances. Second: Adjust show clarity
Although many Netflix shows are available in HD or even Ultra HD quality, some users may experience low clarity. The main factor affecting quality is internet speed – the faster your connection, the clearer the content will appear. However, if you are sure of sufficient speed but the shows still display in poor quality, you can check the streaming settings to enforce high clarity. However, note that this may consume a large amount of data, so the site recommends leaving the option on Auto if you have a limited data plan.
Third: Know IMDb ratings for shows and movies

Once installed on the browser and creating your account, you can hover over any show available on the Netflix homepage and notice a new section showing reviews on IMDb, along with its rating on Simkl and even a popularity drop rate. This helps you make decisions about whether to follow the series or watch the movie. Furthermore, this add-on adds a new section called “Simkl Browse” in the top bar where you can find categories of movies and series and find suitable recommendations for worth-watching shows.
Fourth: Search for Arabic-speaking shows only
As you know, Netflix includes a vast number of shows and movies in multiple languages, including Arabic content due to its support in the Arab region. However, finding Arabic content among the vast amount of other shows can be challenging. If you want to gather all the available Arabic movies on the service in one place, simply go to the link netflix.com/browse/audio and select Arabic from the dropdown menu. Instantly, the list will be rearranged to show Arabic language movies from Egypt, Lebanon, and other Arab countries, you will also find foreign movies dubbed in Arabic.
Fifth: Set parental controls
While Netflix supports creating multiple profiles on the same account, if you share your profile with kids, you can set parental controls to prevent them from accessing adult-rated content with violent scenes and other inappropriate content. You can even block specific shows from appearing to them. If you are interested in enabling this feature, go to the link netflix.com/pin and enter the password. Then, set the Parental Control PIN consisting of 4 digits, press Save, and then you can restrict content according to children’s maturity levels from young kids to teenagers…etc. Alternatively, specify the shows and movies you want to restrict in the “Restrict Specific Titles” section.
Sixth: Save a list of all watched shows
Netflix maintains a record of all the series and movies you’ve watched through your account on the service. For various reasons, you may want to save this record in an external file on your device, or you may want to completely erase this record. In any case, simply go to the link netflix.com/viewingactivity, which will take you to a page with a record containing the name of each show you’ve watched and the date of viewing. If you scroll down this page, you will find two options: Download all to save this list in a file and download it, and Hide all to delete all the contents of the record at once.
